Gino Rea who finished 2nd in Yesterday World Supersport race at the Nurburgring has been excluded from the races results after his honda CBR 600 was found not to conform to the technical regulations, no further explanation has been given at this time.

Kenan Sofuoglu will be awarded the points for 2nd in the race and Broc Parkes will be credited with 3rd.

This impacts on Eugene Laverty's championship challenge as this now makes Kenan Sofuoglu's  advantage at the top of the standings over Laverty 13 points meaning he can finish 2nd behind Laverty in the remaining two races and still win the title. by Mike Evans Girlracer magazine
