2011 Video Blog – Ultimate Budget Racing

For the coming racing year I intend to make a video blog as I go through my second full season racing in the 750MC Stock Hatch Championship.

Having always produced massive grids, recent years have seen drivers who started here moving on to much greater things – including GT racing, Clio Cup and BTCC.

My last season was 2009, and I entered 13 of the 14 rounds and won Class B (for the older cars!) with 5 class victories and 6 fastest laps, finishing 18th overall in the final standings. For 2010 I ran out of money, but this year Class B races are held separately and there is now a chance of winning races outright - so I’ve cobbled the old Nova back together and we’re ready to take on the world!

I hope I can inspire some of you who watch this to get yourselves involved too, whether it be through trackdays, marshalling, or racing. Expect a mixture of track action from an onboard camera with a bit of gossip and behind-the-scenes content – nothing too serious! And you can stay up to date now too, as I’ve begrudgingly accepted Twitter into my life @RacerHammond.
