Having always produced massive grids, recent years have seen drivers who started here moving on to much greater things – including GT racing, Clio Cup and BTCC. My last season was 2009, and I entered 13 of the 14 rounds and won Class B (for the older cars!) with 5 class victories and 6 fastest laps, finishing 18th overall in the final standings. For 2010 I ran out of money, but this year Class B races are held separately and there is now a chance of winning races outright - so I’ve cobbled the old Nova back together and we’re ready to take on the world! I hope I can inspire some of you who watch this to get yourselves involved too, whether it be through trackdays, marshalling, or racing. Expect a mixture of track action from an onboard camera with a bit of gossip and behind-the-scenes content – nothing too serious! And you can stay up to date now too, as I’ve begrudgingly accepted Twitter into my life @RacerHammond. If you’re not quite sure what to expect, here is a little film I made from the frantic final round of 2009 at Snetterton, involving; an engine-blow up, contact, an overnight engine change, and a trackside hissy-fit. Enjoy. Pip Hammond For more information on the 750 Motor Club: http://www.750mc.co.uk/ Worth checking - Motorsport news - F1 news
