In February the IFMXF starts with the NIGHT of the JUMPs in it’s 10th season.

For the 10 years anniversary of the most extreme sportainment series in Europe the riders will be more international, the side shows even more spectacular and the spectator more integrated in the event with backstage reports, interviews and many more. With Remi Bizouard, Jose Miralles and Libor Podmol the top3 riders from last year will ride the series again. But even the new faces at the NIGHT of the JUMPs will rock the FIM Freestyle MX World Championships and take their chances.

The Kickoff for the FIM IFMXF World Championship series will be again the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Berlin, this year on 13th and 14th February. After Berlin the IFMXF will move to Basel/Switzerland. Here the World Championship contests #3 and #4 will take place on April 24th and 25th. In May the IFMXF will celebrate their premier on Asian ground at the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Sanliurfa/Turkey (15th/16th May). Most likely the Iberian Peninsula will see the first ever World Championship contest in May.

After the summer it will go on with the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Cologne (9th October) and Riga/Latvia (23rd October). The season finals 2010 take place in Austria on November 26th/27th (tbc) and Fortalesa/Brasil beginning of December.

In 2010 a group of the world’s best riders out of 10 nations will be invited to the FIM Freestyle MX World Championship contests. This will ensure a even more spectacular fight for the title. Amongst the riders the current World Champion Remi Bizouard (FRA), Vice World Champ Jose Miralles (ESP) and three times Vice World Champion Libor Podmol from Czech Republic. With Alastair Sayer from Botswana and Rob Adelberg from Australia two young guns and new faces will enter the IFMXF. Both were rocking the international FMX scene already and are highly motivated to rule the NIGHT of the JUMPs series. US rider Brody Wilson, Brice Izzo from France, Germanys Fabian Bauersachs and Massimo Bianconcini from Italy will complete the field of fixed riders. These athletes will battle for the FMX crown with a lot of new tricks. Two wildcard riders from the hosting nation will complete the field of riders. And even they will guaranty a most highly trick level.

2001 the first NIGHT of the JUMPs ever took place. In 10 years the sportainment tour developed to the sports measure of all things in Freestyle Motocross. Only here World Champions are crowned and superstars born, who will be celebrated all over the world and invited to nearly every show contest around the globe. We can be surprised which FMX idols will be born out of the NIGHT of the JUMPs at it’s 10 years anniversary.
