I completed my race for life at Donington Park; 3.1 miles
(5km) in 27 minutes!

A big, big thank you to everyone who sponsored me to do this event for Cancer Research UK! Another amazing thing is that the car is still intact!! It must have been my quality engineering with all that duck tape! There was plenty of publicity besides this video too, so if you sponsored me you certainly got your money's worth when it comes to my embarrassment.

About Race for Life and Justgiving

Race for Life 2007
In 2007, our 14th year, we have over 280 Race for Life events taking place all over the UK. To date we have welcomed nearly 2 million women to our events - and they've raised over £130 million for Cancer Research UK. This year we are hoping to bring 800,000 amazing women together to raise a massive £60 million to support our life-saving work.

We want to make it really easy for our supporters to raise funds, so we have created this microsite with Justgiving.com. Creating a sponsorship page is very simple, and it's the best way that you can help us raise money for our vital research. Please set up a page today and tell all your friends about it!

Justgiving.com

Justgiving is the leading provider of online charity fundraising services in the UK. We power the online donation services of over 750 UK charities, helping them cut costs and avoid the expense of developing their own technology. Since our launch in January 2000, hundreds of thousands of people have used Justgiving to collect sponsorship online, sponsor a friend or simply donate to their favourite cause. Thanks to Justgiving's automatic Gift Aid reclaim mechanism, charities are boosting their fundraising income with no extra effort. A private company based in central London, we also have an office in Boston, Massachussetts, where we help over 50 leading American charities raise more through their sponsored events.

Girlracer is not or does not represent this charity and cannot be held responsible for any money lost or content of other independant websites. We are simply supporting this person by providing publicity for the event. Due to the high demand for charity sponsorship, Girlracer will choose at random which charities it supports in the future and no correspondance can be entered into. Any monies raised through links on this website will go straight to the named charity and Girlracer will not gain in any monetary way from it.
