Driver
I am now in my eighth season of racing. I started racing
in a mini at autograss meetings, which was great fun.
I then moved into Rallycross, driving in the Minicross
Championships which is a lot faster and more serious
still using the same car. Finishing 6th in the Minicross
Drivers Association (MDA) Championships in 2004 and
5th in 2005 it became apparent that I needed a better
car. For 2006 I had a new car built by the ‘Revivals’
team based near Cambridge and finished 2nd in the Championship
and was also named as Driver of the Year by the Rallycross
Trust. 2007 was a challenge with a lot of hard races
and a few crashes but I managed to WIN the Championship,
the first time a Rallycross title has been won by a
Girl/Female/Lady. I also race in Belgium & Holland.
2008 sees me out to defend my title over a 10 round
series.
I maintain my fitness by running & swimming. I
swim competitively locally & for Essex at National
events with great success including event wins.
