| I have been involved in
motorsport since I was born, because my dad ownes an
airfield in tockwith (york) called Tockwith airfield.
I have been racing go-karts since I was four. I started
when I was four in honda cadets, then when I was eight
I moved into the comer cadet class so that I could race
in the Stars Of Tomorrow championship, but unfortunately
nothing went the right way for me. When I turned eleven
I moved into the mini max class for even more competition,
I had a few good results in the Stars Of Tomorrow champion
ship which then got me into a racer called the Champion
of Champions, inb which I came fourth in my class.
I then moved into the JICA class two years later to
follow the steps of my older brother who is one of the
top drivers when it comes to karting, I wasn't doing
very well until we went over to genk for onbe of our
rounds in the Stars of Tomorrow championship, in which
I managed to come fourth in one of the races due to
tyre selection.
Then a year later my brother moved into cars to compiete
in the Junior Ginetta class. As I wasn't old enought
to drive cars yet I had to wait until the end of the
year to beable to compete against some real racers.
I passed my test on my fourteenth birthday, just in
time for the next round at Brands Hatch where I competed
in Cassey Watsons car as she had quit the championship.
I wasn't doing to bad as I had had a lot of tuition
of my brother Nigel. I had some good results towards
the end of the year and am hoping to improve as the
years go by. I know a few people that I am copmeting
against from when I raced karts such as Alice Powel
and Cassey Watson.
