Down in the valleys, the skateboards and BMX bikes already roll into spring, but on Kitzsteinhorn the winter season is not over yet!

Until May, the kickers, rails and boxes as well as the half-pipe of the Kitzsteinhorn Mellow Park will be ready for all freestyle snowboarders and freeskiers. In addition, two fine events promise pure riding pleasure under warm rays of sun and with excellent snow conditions: at the finals of the Völkl Snowpark Rally on the 18th of April 2010, a Public BagJump Session will be held giving riders the opportunity to improve their skills at a lower risk. And Ride’n’Roll on the 1st and 2nd of May 2010 will not only offer the rare combination of a half-pipe contest and a parallel GS but also a big party at Kaprun Castle.

With 26 obstacles at the Central Park and 16 elements at the Easy Park as well as a 120-metre half-pipe with 5.5-metre walls, the Kitzsteinhorn Mellow Park currently
offers great conditions for slopestyle and half-pipe fun at the Kitzsteinhorn. The halfpipe will be open until early May while the snow parks will even be available until the
end of May: dependant on the snow conditions, the obstacles will be moved from the Central Park on 2,515 metres to the Glacier Park on 3,000 metres sea-level.

Public BagJump Session on the 18th of April A true delicacy will await all snowboarders at the Kitzsteinhorn from the 16th to the 18th of May: at the snowboard finals of the Völkl Snowboard Rally 2010, the finalists of this winter’s ultimate online photo contest will accomplish their mission to shoot the coolest picture of the winter. In addition, a BagJump will be erected at the Central Park. All riders are free to use this giant air cushion at the Public BagJump Session on Sunday, the 18th of April 2010, from 12 to 2 pm. The BagJump enables riders of all skill levels to improve their riding technique with a lower risk of injury. Coaches will assist the riders and the Völkl pros will demonstrate what is possible on the new training tool.

Ride’n’Roll on the 1st and 2nd of May 2010
Two great competitions and an awesome party: on the 1st and 2nd of May 2010, Ride’n’Roll 2010 once again offers thrills and action at the half-pipe and a parallel
GS. On Saturday, the 1st of May, a half-pipe contest will celebrate the season’s end at the half-pipe. In the evening, the Ride’n’Roll Burgparty at the Castle Kaprun will be
held on three floors with an after-hour party and live appearances by Die Vamummtn, Paraminds and Drama & Stern. On Sunday, the parallel GS will round up the
