She likes to travel and loves to learn of new cultures and snowboarding has given her an opportunity to do exactly that. She has always been into sports and music. Lisa lives with an older brother who has a lot of influence on her. Every sport and whatever he may do, she wanted to do the same and even better to impress him. She started skiing when she was 4 years old and she played the piano, violin and was singing in the choir after that. Handball, gymnastics and snowboarding were next up. When her brother started with skateboarding and dirt-bicycling she was quickly hooked on that also. If it was up to her, she would keep on doing all activities, but it just wasn’t possible. She doesn’t like to do anything half hearted either, so she dropped out of the handball and kept on with gymnastics and snowboarding. Gymnastics gave her a stronger body control and balance which was helping her snowboarding anyhow. She still participates in some gymnastics as a practise for her snowboard tricks but wakeboarding is another sport she enjoys. It gives her board control and is a fun alternative during summer.
