Girlracer BMX racer Izzy Ferrada has been presented  with a SportsAid Grant Award.

This was in recognition of her #1 UK Ranking in the 13/14 Girl BMX racing category.

Although ranked #1, British Cycling has given Izzy Special Dispensation to race in the Championship category, the top Female BMX racing class in the UK. Minimum age is 17 and Izzy is only 14! Despite this, she has qualified for the Finals in every National race so far this season, beating many older seasoned riders. Girlracer magazine
