Motorsport Experience

First memory;
A passenger ride in dads ex works Ford Sierra Cosworth with the singing down the head phones speakers, I was about 3 years old. This was the only rally car Ayton Senna ever drove, some years later I spoke to a young guy Bruno Senna. Small world! 

First Driving Experience;
Dads Range Rover around the farm, I was about 7 – it was automatic and nearly crashed into my house, my excuse is I couldn’t really see what I was doing.

My First taste of driving fast was in a rear engined, rear wheeled drive Ford Training buggy at Donington, aged 12. This then progressed to a variety of Mitsubishi Evo lancers , MGs, puma racing and a load of old bangers around the field at the back of my house.

Kart Racing
I was a late starter in comparison to my fellow competitors, getting my first Junior TKM on my 15th birthday.
Dad says “education has to come first”. 2008 was my novice season. 2009 has so far been a hectic development programme mentored by Jason Dredge who is now also a good mate. Jason is straight talking and takes no excuses! This is perfect for fast track development.
My GSCEs take priority over the next few months, but the plan by the end of the year is to have also sampled a Rotax Senior and 125 Gearbox Karts.

Motorsport Career
In a perfect world, with a bit of luck and a lot of hard work, I would like to be in Touring Cars with in the next 5 years and not just making up the numbers. On a non professional front I would also like to win a rally with my dad, me as co driver - for now.

Other Interests and Activities
My passion apart from Racing is singing in a rock band called “The Detours”. I enjoy music, dancing, socialising and exercise. I also have a passion for art work design in fashion and all aspect of art which is one of my GCSEs subjects.
