Since I seem to have been born with a seriously unhealthy enthusiasm for all things automotive, my migration from working in advertising on an automotive account to running motorsport events and eventually to compete seemed inevitable.
But without doing something to put myself in my uncomfortable zone each day, I am a restless bunny! I have been lucky enough to make some really good friends, contacts and fellow racers in the sport who have been very supportive, encouraging and at times generous, without them all my racing career could have been very short and sweet!
In 2008 I had a fab time filming the Mille Miglia with James Martin - a tough job, but someone had to do it! James and I got on really well despite the televised banter and fingers crossed it would be great to do some more historic road racing since it really is such an amazing atmosphere and adrenaline buzz!
2009 I campaigned an Aston Martin GT4 in the GT Cup and thoroughly loved the car and enjoyed the experience. I always dreamed of having an Aston as a road car, then to be able to race one was something else!
