Plans for £10.4m of government funding for sports car maker Lotus have been put on hold while its new owner makes a decision on the future of the company.

Every time I hear that Peugeot is about to introduce another estate car or people carrier into the market, it makes me shiver, because in my opinion, Peugeot had only ever made good small to medium sized cars and vans.
